Mandalas & Meditation
- 495,00 DKK
Join us for a morning of calm creativity. Using light meditation and embodied art making to cultivate a sense of inner calm and connection to yourself. No experience or skills in art making or meditation are necessary. This is a not a group therapy session, but a workshop that incorporates light therapeutic methods. With the ongoing hustle and bustle of daily life and the added practical and emotional challenges of the global pandemic it can be hard to find time to slow down and breathe. Coping in a time of collective anxiety means our brains and nervous systems are often overstimulated putting us in a constant state of reacting. As part of the workshop we will be using natural materials to create temporary mandalas. Materials for this will be provided. However, you are VERY welcome to bring added found objects to use if you wish (leaves, pebbles, flowers, seeds ect) No experience or skills in art making or meditation are necessary This is a not a group therapy session, but a workshop that incorporates light therapeutic methods. Light snacks will be provided and tea and coffee can be purchased in the Art Escape Café. This workshop is facilitated by: Daisy Somerwolff - Daisy is an art psychotherapist from the UK. She has experience in clinical and community settings working with adults and young people. With a special interest in pain she is passionate about improvements to holistic pain management. Daisy believes in the power of creative expression to foster healing and support physical and mental wellbeing. & Ida Glad - Ida is a licensed life-coach and holds a BS in psychology. She works part-time as an artist and member of the Art Escape Collective. From the studio she teaches art-classes and a range of workshops about art, healing and creativity.
